Megalithic Ancient Calendar Of Killarumiyoq Peru

The Quillarumiyoq archaeological site outside of Cusco Peru is rarely visited by tourists, especially in comparison with Machu Pic’chu. If one breaks down the name into its component parts we get: Quilla, meaning moon, Rumi being rock, and Yoq meaning place of.
The Incas worshipped not only the Sun but also other elements of nature such as the Moon. Killarumiyoq is one of the least known and visited Inca archaeological sites but it is definitely worth a visit since this site has an astounding stone block carved with the shape of the moon, as scholars believe.
Some people say it is a great incan carving of either a sun calendar or a moon calendar. Whatever it is, it is very interesting.
